DigitalX increased bitcoin holdings to 499.8 BTC
DigitalX (ASX:DCC) reported a substantial increase in its Bitcoin holdings, reaching 499.8 BTC by the end of July 2025. This growth is attributed to a focused treasury strategy and favorable market conditions. Bitcoin hit a new all-time high of approximately US$123,000 (AU$187,600) in July, fueled by easing trade tensions. It later retreated to US$118,000 (AU$182,600) after the Fed maintained steady interest rates. The company advanced its Bitcoin-first treasury strategy by acquiring 241.7 BTC at an average price of US$116,048 (AU$180,241) during the month. These acquisitions were financed through proceeds from a July strategic placement and reallocations from other digital assets. DigitalX's treasury valuation reached A$104 million by month-end, with Spot Bitcoin accounting for 52.8% of total treasury holdings. DigitalX Bitcoin ETF Units represented 33.9%, and other digital assets accounted for 11.0%. This strategy supports DigitalX's long-term target under its '21 Hundred' plan, to grow Bitcoin holdings to 2,100 BTC by the end of 2027. DigitalX is emphasising growth in Bitcoin per share, measured in Satoshis.
